About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Embrace spontaneity
ABOUT ME
Music is my passion. Food is my life. Laughter is my language.
As an avid traveler who explores as much as time and my budget allow, I try to live simply and always maintain an open mind. I'm a firm believer in finding ways to calm the mind, whether it be through yoga, meditation or music, and enjoy uniting with others in these practices. I do my best to be fully present and maintain respect for others. I find that I connect best with others through laughter, conversation and sharing.
Best words to describe me: spontaneous, receptive, active, curious, genuine, adventurous, humble, free-spirited and silly.
PHILOSOPHY
Let go. Open to something bigger. Have courage to jump in and trust in your ability to ride the wave. The rest will be discovered when fear is relinquished. Only through presence will the great mother reveal her secrets. Listen carefully. And tread softly.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Sharing my couch whenever I can.
Spreading the news to people who wish to use couchsurfing as a means of meeting people, not a free place to stay.
Participating in events around the world.
Sharing ideas, passions and interests with CSers and others.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Officially I've hosted a few times but lately I've used my spot as a crash pad for friends and have seen quite a few come and go this summer. I've also surfed many a couch in Europe and the USA. The CS community has treated me well and I hope to do more hosting and surfing in the upcoming months.

"People think a soul mate is your perfect fit, and that's what everyone wants. But a true soul mate is a mirror, the person who shows you everything that is holding you back, the person who brings you to your own attention so you can change your life.
A true soul mate is probably the most important person you'll ever meet, because they tear down your walls and smack you awake. But to live with a soul mate forever? Nah. Too painful. Soul mates, they come into your life just to reveal another layer of yourself to you, and then leave.
A soul mates purpose is to shake you up, tear apart your ego a little bit, show you your obstacles and addictions, break your heart open so new light can get in, make you so desperate and out of control that you have to transform your life, then introduce you to your spiritual master." -Elizabeth Gilbert, EAT PRAY LOVE

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seriously epic rainbow in Humboldt county, Cali. I saw the beginning of it and it was the most vibrant rainbow I've ever seen. The colors were so clear I couldn't believe my eyes. The rainbow started right down the hill from us in a beautiful valley of madrone trees and ended near the base of the snow-frosted mountains.
Teach, Learn, Share
We could all share more, that's why I'm a fan of the barter system. We all have unique gifts to bestow upon each other, so why not give and receive gracefully?
I'd absolutely love to share my knowledge of cooking, yoga, farming, traveling and massage with the CS community and anyone else I meet. It's all about passing along our knowledge and gaining new knowledge or insight as a result.
