ABOUT ME

At the moment I am an English language assistant in Dieppe, France (Upper Normandy)! Originally I am from Rochester, New York and then moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for university. I continued to live in Philadelphia for a year, working, before I came to France!

I am a poor gal who has been bitten by the travel bug. Thanks to Couchsurfing I don't have to wallow in my self-pity.

I have had such wonderful positive experiences and am convinced that my time spent in foreign lands would not have been as incredible if not for my hosts!

I dream of the day when I have the space (even an extra blanket would be nice!) to be able to host couchsurfers of my own!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have enjoyed being a pseudo-host to my boyfriend's couchsurfers, seeing that I was never able to offer a couch myself!

I have couchsurfed a little in New England, and then some more in Stockholm, Riga, Warsaw and Prague, and Berlin! I have also had some couchsurfing excursions within France.

Interests

I really like cooking (vegan/vegetarian) and trying new recipes. Having friends over for dinner and drinks is always a good time!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love the two Claire Denis films that I've seen... I really enjoy Wes Anderson films, and I have made a personal commitment to watch all of the Coen Brothers movies, which has been wonderful so far! I also like Mel Brooks, for my sillier days!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have not yet had ONE AMAZING MOMENT that has stood out above the rest, but every new place that I have traveled to has been amazing for me since I never thought that I would ever be able to go to these places!
