About Me

CURRENT MISSION

be. learn. grow. open. connect. understand.

ABOUT ME

I make great salad dressing and always try to help out with whatever needs doing. I'm easy-going and grounded and love sharing what I know and learning new things from others. Used to be a sea kayak guide, also worked as a project leader for Katimavik, as a natural builder/plasterer and as an organic gardener.

PHILOSOPHY

Compost happens.

Music, Movies, and Books

documentaries, foreign films, action/adventure, comedy, romance, not a big horror/scary movie fan...
classic rock, reggae, world music, electronica, folk, bluegrass, funk, hip hop, classical, jam bands, heavy metal...
I come from a long line of bibliophiles and read lots of fiction and non-fiction

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

** Sea kayaking in Haida Gwaii (aka the Queen Charlotte Islands, Northern British Columbia, Canada) - so many amazing clouds, a terrible storm with wind so strong you felt you might be blown backwards down the beach, ancient villages with mossy totem poles

Teach, Learn, Share

Lots of N. America (especially west coast) plant knowledge, gardening, homesteading/wilderness/survival skills. Studying Tarot, would love to practice reading your cards. Would love to learn more about bees/apiary, horsepowered farming, aquaculture, sewing, and.......

What I Can Share with Hosts

Happy to contribute towards food sharing, help out with whatever's happening, stay up late conversing, scheming, etc. and I will almost certainly wash your dishes for you.
