HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I traveled for nine months until June 2012 and I want to keep up the travel feeling by meeting other people from all over the world. I like to surf and when I am home in the Netherlands, I like to host people. I'm a hospitable person and like to make people feel at home and comfortable at my place.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

During my year in the USA I became friends with a lot of international people through CouchSurfing. It was nice to be surounded by people and do activities together.

Intereses

In my free time back home I like to meet up with my friends and family, go for a swim and walk, listen to music, do some cooking and baking and I like to play card- en boardgames.

Música, películas y libros

I love symphonic, classical and 70s music. Big fan of Queen. I like many kinds of movies, but especially movies like 'Forrest Gump', 'I am Sam' and 'What's eating Gilbert Grape'.I read all kinds of books, my last favourite book was 'The Help'.

I worked for a year in the social field in the USA. It was a great experience. Besides my job I had the opportunity to see a lot of the USA. Therefore I wanted to travel more, so I traveled again for 9 months through Asia, New Zealand and Australia. It was amazing!

I'd like to exchange life- and travel-experience with new friends. In the same time I would like to improve my English, so I can speak a bit more fluently.
