About Me

I am just about to start my masters in evolutionary biology, part of my quest of unraveling nature's mysteries. Occasionally my mind wanders to more urgent questions of how we can take better care of this earth and hold together our somewhat disintegrated societies. I like to study members of the human species and listen to their thoughts on these matters and others. So definitely let me know in case you have something to share about the state of the world, philosophy, politics or diversity. I also love to share food and make coffee. I am currently looking for the next book to fall in love with. Let's converse!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing has been quite a savior during my own travels, and whenever I'm stuck in one place it's nice to hear the stories of those that are out there on the move and exploring.

Interests

Sports are an awesome way to feel happy in my body and meet people whilst being outside! Such effective multitasking. I like visiting contemporary art museums despite being occasionally skeptical of this form of expression. I get completely submerged in theatre and film, which is fun but can be emotionally exhausting. Evolution is my passion and I love talking about it a lot if you're interested.

Music, Movies, and Books

I prefer to leave picking the music to other people unless they have aweful taste. I like slightly dystopian film like black mirror or the lobster. I also loved watching the film Victoria (an entire movie in one shot!!!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

how to answer this question? I wrote and performed a monologue about being 17 when I was 17 with a friend for our extended essay. That was quite an amazing experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I play rugby and can teach you how to tackle. Only voluntarily, I promise. I also like to share with others how making vegetarian food is really easy, tasty, cheaper and better for the planet and learn new recipes. I'd like to learn how to do better programming and speak French. Yoga poses are also highly appreciated.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Ideas, Thoughts, food, and I like to sing and do funky dance moves as well.
