Mix of down-to-earth and quite outgoing. I love dressing up colourfully. I genuinely enjoy meeting people and engaging conversation is probably one of my favourite pass times. I also like being quiet. Easy going and considerate.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have often met locals and found somewhere to stay outside of the structured couch surfing web community, like-wise I've made fantastic friends who were travelling and offered them a place to stay. Since joining CS I've had only positive experiences, and been astounded at peoples generosity. The CS structure allows us to connect with people we really have a lot in common with, or are very interested in getting to know! I am a very responsible visitor, I contribute food and cleaning and have massive respect for my host/s.

Interests

Music, arts, CYCLING, cooking, stimulating conversation, fashion (design and photography), reading, learning, travelling (obviously). Film festivals. Hiking, camping, everything outdoor-sy. Learning Spanish is a long-term interest and endeavour.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living on the edge of a tiny village called Esporles in Mallorca, Spain without a car was fantastic. One day I walked for 2 hours to the next village and ate a set menu of local produce at a tiny cafe perched on a rocky ascent, idyllic! Camping with bicycles in New Forest (England) also a major highlight!! So liberating to be car free!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am an expert seamstress with stretch fabrics!! (think swimsuits and other costumes). I can also teach pattern making and other general sewing skills.

My next learning endeavour is French, as I'll be living in Montreal.
