My name is Hilke Eiden and I'm 23 years old. I live in a village near Trier which is a lovely city in the south-western part of Germany. I'm actually studying International Business (Economics combined with foreign languages) in my hometown Trier.
In my spare time, I love meeting my friends, reading books and doing sports, especially horse riding.

I love travelling to explore foreign cultures and to meet new people. In my opinion, Couchsurfing enables me to have direct contact with locals, mutual exchanges about languages, cultures, different lifestyles etc. When travelling, I enjoy the most meeting people from all over the world.

When somebody asks me about my favorite music, movies and books, it is always difficult for me to decide which ones I like best since I'm interested in so many different genres. In general, I enjoy watching/reading movies/books in English or French to improve my foreign language skills.

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

Last year, I decided to spend 6 weeks abroad with a friend of mine. We travelled to Ireland, spent 3 weeks working on farms and used the other 3 weeks to explore lots of lovely cities and places over there. Getting to know so many new people and a totally different culture was such an amazing experience for me that I decided to spend 6 weeks in France this year (also work & travel).

I'm a reliable and open-minded person, therefore I'm happy to share experiences about travelling, languages, sports etc. with you. As you can presume from my studies, I'm particularly interested in economics and foreign languages and of course, I also enjoy exchanging information about such topics.
Furthermore, sports and especially horse-riding are my passion, I've got my own horse and I really like talking about different kind of sports.
