About Me

Hey, My name is Jared and I am from Southern New Jersey. I got into bicycle touring when I was 21. I am leaving in December 2021 to start a lifestyle on the road. I tell people about Jesus along the way. My website has updates and a little more about myself.

BeSeparate.com

I find places to camp on my trip. Searching for a host is a rare occurrence for me. Typically, I will reach out when I am in a city/suburban area and can't find a place to sleep or for emergencies. Maybe on this trip I will reach out more. Meeting new people is always worth it. Most people I have stayed with have just been random people I meet along the way.

At most any time I will have my bicycle with me. I am always cool with sleeping outside in my tent.

I am not a partyer and am not very interested joining a crazy party. I don't smoke, drink alcohol, or take any drugs. I am great with children and do not have any allergies.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I created my Couchsurfing account in December 2021 hoping to meet new people in my travels. I am a decent story teller; folks tend to like that.

I figure it's also good to have a way to contact someone willing to help if I get injured or something.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2016, I rode my bicycle 11,000 miles around the perimeter of the United States. 145 days in and about 5 days from reaching home, My trip ended when I was hit by a van. Lived to tell about it. Praise God!

Guitar (i am not a pro), harmonica, English, Watercolor painting, all kinds of Art, building and fixing, Bible knowledge. I am always willing to talk about any subject.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am super helpful. Some even say I am encouraging. Once a lady thought I was an angel and made me promise I wasn't (no joke). I am always will to chip in on (buying/making) food and what not. I have a gift for fixing stuff.
