About Me

I enjoy travel and the outdoors, I’m usually a very busy person. When I’m not out and about I’m either at work or at home working away on my laptop. I’m happy meet with you or host you. I’d be happy to show you around the city.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

CouchSurfing is such a awesome way to meet new people and experience new cultures. I think it's a great way to meet someone new, learn a little bit more about the world and In turn learn more about myself. People say that traveling makes you more open- minded, I think it's the people you meet that do that no matter where you are! The world is full of intricacies, individuals, similarities and difference. The more you meet, the more exceptions you’ll see.

So far I’ve made many friendships with people who I’ve meet on the Couchsurfing app or Couchsurfing events.

I'd love to get to know you and hear you'r travels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

• I'd been fortunate enough to travel with my old high school to Samoa on a mission exchange in 2015. This was such a eye opening experience for me and has definitely made me appreciate what we have back home. I'd love to do more volunteer work overseas.

• At the age of 17 I started doing voluntary work with the YMCA. During my time as a volunteer I was lucky enough to meet other volunteers from other parts of the world. The YMCA has become a big part of my life and has become my second family. Since then I have been apart of running after school and holiday programmes at the Y. In the summer I'm often working as leader at our YMCA camp in Wainui, located in banks peninsula. Video: YMCA Wainui park camp https://youtu.be/1fInvSW5hCE

Other volunteer work I’ve been involved in : •Youthline •World Vision •Ronald MacDonald house • New Zealand breast cancer society
