COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I studied abroad in High School and lived with a family in Italy for six months when I was 16. I loved becoming part of the family there and still visit every year. I've also hosted the family I stayed with at my house in California while they visited America.

For the past two summers I have stayed with a family in Edinburgh, Scotland while working with Young LIfe (a Christian organization) at local Scottish high schools.

Two weeks ago I stayed with a family in Sydney, Austria and loved getting to experience Austria from a local perspective.

I have absolutely loved getting to know people while staying at their house. I am incredibly easy going and don't need any special amenities while traveling so couch surfing is a perfect way for me to both experience culture first hand and make lifetime friends.

Interests

I love being outside. Any outdoor activities are wonderful. I grew up camping every year and have a heart for nature.

In addition, I love people and traveling. Since living abroad at 16 I have fallen in love with people from around the world. I love hearing stories or life and families.

I also am Christian and have spend the last five years of my life trying my very best to serve the Lord and all the wonderful people He has created, while experiencing His creation through traveling.
