ABOUT ME

Hello all. My name is Hillary Wein, and I am an ocean loving, bike riding, music loving student from good old Newport, Rhode Island. (If you haven't been up that way definitely check it out, best beaches and clam chowder in New England.)
I currently live in Newark, Delaware and am a third year undergrad at the University.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is that we all operate as one collective consciousness. In order to understand the world, to answer all of our big questions, to truly see what life is like, we must first connect with each other.

To name a few- I am interested in learning new languages, running, traveling, discovering new bands, swimming (or anything in the water, really), and getting outside of my comfort zone.

While I love dancing, local jam bands, and the occasional classic rock, I really enjoy Folk music. This is ranging anywhere from the Avett Brothers to Mumford and Sons to Sufjan Stevens to First Aid Kit. If there is a harmonica, fiddle, or the occasional brass section you have my interest!!

I have traveled throughout Senegal, learning about NGOs and the influence of multinational corporations on the economy. I also spent this past January living in Santiago, Chile.
