I went to WVU and was a member of Beta Theta Pi. After graduation, I moved to Germany for a few years. Currently I'm a few months in to a year long motorcycle trip to South America and possibly beyond.

Pack less!! Look at all the stuff you have in your backpack or luggage, remove half. Lay out the remainder of your stuff, remove half again! And then take twice as much money.

I feel for the backpackers that have a 100L pack on their back and a day bag across their chest. Why do that to yourself? Your main concern is going to be all of your stuff!
