About Me

Me... I'm not so great at sticking to a plan. Tend to live on a whim. My life is limbo, but that must be how it goes... Always in between and becoming. It's fun, like a dance! Brief synopsis of life lately- graduated and moved to Spain to teach English at a primary school in Madrid. I loved it!! Ended up returning to the States after a year without a plan and poco a poco have been figuring things out. I started making some plans and then I got in a car wreck (I'm ok!) and that has really put a pause on a lot of things, but consequentially initiated a lot of positive changes. So todo bien and I'm still in limbo and never knowing what's the plan or what's for dinner. I'm from North Carolina and Louisiana, the beach and the swamp and I'm from all the miles in between and the ones that go around. Each day is a practice for the next. I am happy.

The greatest wisdom of all is kindness.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love road tripping. It's my favorite way to travel! I try to stay with friends, but when they aren't near, it's nice to make new ones :) snapshots. In Europe I've usually just stayed in hostels. Other times and places I've used airbnb. If I'm traveling alone hosteling and couch surfing are my favorite way to camp. I like making friends at crossroads. It's interesting to catch the glimpses of other people's lives and share memories together.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Driving through Mexico from Louisiana to Oaxaca. I think Mexico is the most beautiful country I've seen.
Backpacking around Cuba. Yall.... It is another world. Haven't found the right single adjective to describe it. I just keep saying very very interesting. Interesting.
