About Me
Hi!
My name is Hilma and I'm traveling around Euro-Asia with my best friend this year. Using couchsurfing in almost every country I have now friends for life all over the world and that is such a privilege! Wish all people knew couchsurfing and used it while traveling to eliminate borders between people. Friendship and peace is the most valuable thing we have in this world.
We have now come to the end of our journey and that means it's time for me to start to host other couchsurfers. I will live on the countryside with my mother this summer and we have a big house with a lot of space for other people.
Telling you a bit about myself I'm neurotically fond of making my own stuff such as sewing my own clothes, knitting my own scarves, carving my own cutlery and creating my own oitments. But in a lot of other ways I'm comfortable: I do hate cleaning and to organize my stuff in a very particular and specific way. I have come to the conclusion that laziness is not a bad quality but in fact something people should aim for since it creates peace in heart and gives place for a lot more interesting and important things in life. I haven't been working during all this year but have spent my time so much better and been able to help other people, get to know myself and focus on this planet's, other's and my own well-being. If we are able to meet I would like to show you my childhood home, introduce you to my family, drink lots of herbal tea, barbeque on my veranda, chat until midnight and cook vegetarian food. If you just need a couch and aren't very interested in making friends, you are welcome too but mind that I live 10 minutes by car from the train station and it's not a good location if you want to explore Jönköping, the nearest biggest city. I can though show you my favourite places in this area of Sweden, take you to one of the national parks, go for some nightly animal spotting and walks in the forest.
