Doing my last semester in Sweden and trying to soak up as much of Scandinavia as possible!

ABOUT ME

Tough question. I left Canada after having dreamed of living in Sweden for the last few years. I am an aspiring teacher and believe that it is through languages (in addition to food) that one can really know a culture. That being said, I have a passion for cooking and wine; some might describe me as a foodie.

I really love outdoor sports and yoga and I yearn for unique experiences. I appreciate all music, especially anything that gets my shoulders shrugging.

Some of my favourite nights so far in Sweden have just been sitting around the dinner table with new friends, talking and having wine until the early hours. The best part of being on exchange is learning from and sharing this incredible experience with other young people, from all corners of the world.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Looking to see as much of Scandinavia as possible. As much emphasis as their is on 'seeing sights', I am more the type of traveler who likes to just sit and chill and find out what makes that particular place unique. I'm really looking for the locals' perspective.
