COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Stayed with a few different JETs in Hokkaido, Japan, and it was awesome: got to experience some authentic Japanese Karaoke!

Intereses

Outdoors, camping, canoeing, cooking, not so athletic/co-ordinated for most sports... but practices aikido and enjoys rock climbing. Avid reader and would choose a book over the tv... I'm a real estate agent so very interested in housing. Also interested in alternative medicine and nutrition.

Música, películas y libros

A melange of various alt-rock, indie music - especially Canadian! Soft spot for folk music as well as anything that's fun to dance to. I am often waist-deep in a collection of books from the library. Right now I'm surrounded by books on wild edibles.

Algo increíble que he hecho

While in Japan a young woman at Shikotsu-ko offered to drive us to our campsite and show us her favourite waterfall on the way. It was hidden well off the beaten path and absolutely stunning. We would never have found it on our own making it extra special that she would go out of her way to show it to us.
