I taught a middle school program. i taught those kids lessons on globalisation, education, and english language, and they taught me what it was like growing up feeling targeted for your race and having to flee from a war zone.

I've sat with children in juvenile detention and drug addicts addicts in, who told me their lives could have turned out differently if they just had something to do, an after school program or somewhere to go.
