Overview
About Me
My name is Himanshu, and I am from Etawah, India. I work as a Software Test Engineer, which has helped me develop a responsible, organised, and respectful approach to both work and travel.
I enjoy travelling because it allows me to explore new cultures, meet people from different backgrounds, and learn through real-life experiences. I am open to both domestic and international travel, and I see travel as a way to grow personally while building meaningful connections. I value cultural exchange, honest conversations, and mutual respect, and I always try to be a polite and considerate guest.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined Couchsurfing to experience travel more authentically and culturally. I believe the best way to understand a place is through the people who live there. Couchsurfing allows me to learn from locals, exchange experiences, and build genuine connections while travelling responsibly and respectfully.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have travelled independently to new places outside my comfort zone, including Nepal, which helped me become more confident, adaptable, and open-minded. Experiencing different cultures and environments taught me how to connect with people, respect local customs, and appreciate diverse ways of life.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share my knowledge of software testing, technology, and problem-solving, and I enjoy learning about local cultures, languages, and traditions. I’m always happy to exchange ideas, listen to stories, and learn from the experiences of others while sharing my own perspective as a traveler from India.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share good conversations, cultural exchange, respect for your home, and a positive attitude. I’m also happy to help with small household tasks, share stories from my travels, and, when possible, bring a small local gift from India as a gesture of gratitude.
