ABOUT ME

I am a 23 year old California native! I just spent the last 5 months backpacking through Australia. I spent most of my time in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Surfers Paradise. It was an amazing experience and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great way travel while also being money conscious along the way.

PHILOSOPHY

In the end, the pessimist may be proved right, but the optimist has a better time on the trip!

I love the idea of this site, and hope to take advantage of it in the future. Of course, when we finish traveling, my future home in San Diego would be open to anyone who took us in! :-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only had the chance to couchsurf with one house of guys who took me in while visiting Brisbane. They were awesome and really turned me on to the idea of couchsurfing more elsewhere. Thanks Brian and Dustin! :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving in San Diego, Bungee Jumping in Cairns, Snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef, Jumping off the Coffs Harbour Pier naked in the middle of the night! We just toured the Great Ocean Road and it has to be one of the most beautiful sites I have ever seen. I will always remember how picturesque it was. :)
