About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Saving lives...

ABOUT ME

I was born in Germany, but a few weeks after my birth my parents and I moved to Afrika (Botswana), where I spent the next 2 1/2 years. Then we moved to Sri Lanka and we came back to Germany when I was five years old. I went to school in Husum and finished my A-Levels in summer 2005. I've been to New Zealand, doing a social year, working with disabled children. I left NZ in June 2006 to travel the world and I visited Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia and India. I just came back to Germany on the 20th of April 2007 and I started a paramedic training in Berlin in August 2007. I finished that in summer 08 and then I worked as a paramedic for the Berlin Fire and Rescuing Brigade (thats probably a bad translation ;)) Now I'm going to work for the German Red Kross in Berlin from January on...

PHILOSOPHY

Love as if your heart can't be broken, dance as if no one's watching you, live as if it's your last day on earth! =)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had so many lovely experiences all over the world, now it's time for me to give something back! :)

Interests

I'm really into all sorts of sports (Gymnastics, Volleyball, Dancing, Trampoline..), I've nearly done it all my life, but the last year I was just too busy with other (new) things.
I enjoy reading lots and lots of good(!) books and have a nice cup of coffee.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen the sunrise on a hill in Java (Indonesia) and from there I watched Mount Bromo (vulcano) erupting every 15 minutes!

I hitchhiked through/around Australia and managed to stay with couch-surfers only; for 2 months!

Me and Finn bought a motorbike and drove around Malaysia, Thailand, Lao, Vietnam and Cambodia, back through Thailand to Malaysia to sell it for nearly the price we bought it!
