ABOUT ME

# i used to work with most of my energy in an alternative cultural center called spektral in graz. we have the goal of raising awareness of people, and politicise them through selfempowering. blabla.
in reality that means 5 people run a cultural center without being paid, takes about 20-50 h a week, and we host about 250 events a year, varying from a cooking workshop to a political discussion or movie screening.
it´s a lot of work from organising to cleaning to research and workshopleading. the reason i´m tellig this is, that most people can´t understand that someone cuts back so much on personal income and leisuretime, just because of ideological reasons. well, i enjoy meeting people who do. ;)
so the whole spektral thing is about politicising people, facilitate infrastrukture ans knowledge for them to become active in many ways.

# BECAUSE i believed so much in this whole "education is everything" stuff, I became a trainer and teacher. I teach courses about visual facilitation, sketchnoting, self developement, ommunication and how that all realtes to politics.

# I adore handicrafts, readings and art, selfmade stuff and freaky things from soap to sewing.i also like playing guitar more, than i am able to do it, but it suits my singing... ;)

# i have a dog, called findus. he is (of course) the greatest dog on this planet and is a stinky little ball of fur. (not so little though..)

# well, i like travelling a lot, although i mainly travel with backpack and sleepingbag...

PHILOSOPHY

the world is too round to sit silently in the corner.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

once upon a time in hamburg, I saw a really old man riding a bike, and he had his crutches clipped on his carrier. that was amazing -
and made my day

Teach, Learn, Share

seeing the bigger picture, is my thing. stuff about training, group leading...
i can teach you a lot from modeling sugarflowers (and bake the fitting cakes for them) to make calendula salve and soap, i can teach you a bit sewing, and tiling, baking bread and cakes in a preserving jar, which is durable at least 6 month :) and two norwegian lullabys and some german too, engraving glass and making kaleidoscopes, much more beautiful, than the eyes of the girl, they sing about in the beatles song. some poems i know by heart. i can share my empathy with you. and conversations. and other useful things.
