ABOUT ME

I am 35 years old, originally from Paris. I have had the opportunity to live abroad: almost 2 years in England, 3,5 months in Ecuador, about 3 years in Greece and 3 months in Australia (Melbourne).

I haven't stopped travelling for the last 12 years and I am absolutely passionate about it. I love the incredible feeling of freedom of the traveller and the uncertainty that stems from it.

I travelled the world between April 2012 and February 2013. I was thinking about it for years... I might have been too scared or too young before, but I knew I had to do it. So I left and made every day the most out of it: I kept seeing amazing places, meeting great people and eating delicious food. 10 months of dream!

Then I went back home (France), stayed for a few months before I left again. Went back to Australia and then travelled again (but differently) for 6 months in South East Asia.

After this strip I decided to settle in Vancouver Canada. I have been living there since September 2014. That is to say over 2 years now.

CouchSurfing has allowed me so far to meet very nice people and know more about local customs. A big thank you to all the people who have already hosted me and who will in the future.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am on the road again, so I am sorry but I am not able to host anybody. Nevertheless, I'll be happy to go for a coffee or a pint if my timetable allows for it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While in Buenos Aires, I met an amazing CS host, Carolina, who made my experience in the city really beautiful. I think I met one of my new friends. She is smart, funny, smiling and so passionate about everything she does. A real inspiration!
We are still good friends and write messages to each other quite often.

I also like to write and read, to sew and sing.
Apart from that I am like most of the people I guess... I enjoy dancing, I love to laugh, I adore cooking and then eating, I love listening to music very loud in my kitchen, I appreciate gazing at people in a coffee shop, a book and/or a camera in my hand... I also like to experiment and try to make things with my hands, even when the result is not convincing... ;-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I travelled the world on my own for 10 months (April 2012-February 2013). It was absolutely incredible! The best year of my life for sure! I have seen so many things and met so many great people... Some are still some of my good friends and I can't wait to see them again.

I remember this time I swam with a Manta Ray in Indonesia while snorkeling! A moment of pure grace and beauty!
