Overview
About Me
Hi everyone! :) I'm a student from Hong Kong but currently studying in Wales, UK for a university degree. I would like to spend some of my free time travelling and meet some new people and eventually, hopefully, develop a global network of friends. I love making new friends and getting to learn about different cultures and their languages.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I was an introverted person when I was younger but I now believe that being more outgoing and open-minded to the world would make me much of a better person. Couchsurfing would be an interesting and adventurous thing for me to do, and I hope it will be something that I do without regrets and one that I would enjoy!
Interests
Learning different languages and cultures, but also get to know more new friends through travelling. I am into linguistics in different languages, but right now, just English. Pen palling too, but sometimes I don't really get prompt reply which puts me off a little bit but I am keen on making friends through writing letters and eventually get to meet the person in real life.

Music, Movies, and Books
Mostly pop music in English and Mandarin. I don't really enjoy reading. I enjoy watching comedy films and I love learning new words through subtitles.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have been studying in the UK for five years up to this point, I wasn't born here, but to me, this experience somehow seem to me as a big scale couchsurfing, because I never know who I will meet and be friends with. I have traveled to Spain alone to meet my friend and it was absolutely fantastic!
What I Can Share with Hosts
My stories and what I have encountered in schools in two different countries. Cultural differences between the East and the West that I have picked up on. If you're interested in learning another language, I might be helpful!
