ABOUT ME

I'm a journalist, traveler, hiker and gluten-free vegetarian. My husband, Nate, is also a journalist and I think I've passed the traveling bug on to him. I've been to Europe and studied abroad in Japan twice. We have three cats, two dogs, two birds and a leopard gecko. If you don't like animals, we're probably not the couch-providers for you.

Both of us are easy-going. We love chatting, food, and challenging our guests to Wii show-downs. If you catch us on a weekend, chances are we can take you out for some local beer and/or food.

Mostly, we host travelers. We've stayed with a few people and have nothing but great experiences.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, we've had mostly great experiences with CS. All of our guests have been wonderful (and very understanding about our wild kitties and puppies).
