About Me

ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Hiro, Japanese.
I wanna be a person who compel the soul. I decided to go around the world to gather some pieces to be like him. For example, I wanna develop my knowledge, the ability to think and strength of communication through this travel. After that, I’m going to be a Science teacher. My major was Earth Science. Thus my emphasis is on education, nature, people. Concretely, I’m going to each country school and anomalous places on Geology. The reason why my emphasis is on people is to get rid of my preconceived idea by talking with local people to learn culture. That’s the outline of my purpose on this travel.
I write down my profile summary below.
1989, I was born in Tokyo and I almost grew up there. I’ve lived in Osaka for 2 years and in Kagawa for a year. 2007, I entered Waseda university and I studied Geology and Education. In addition, I’m interested in Astronomy, Meteorology, and Mineralogy. My graduation thesis was about ammonite fossils. 2011, I entered Waseda graduation university and after 2 years I quit. I was a volunteer in East Japan earth quake last 2011. 2 years ago I traveled across japan by hitchhike. I’ve worked in junior school and junior high school as part time science teacher for a year. I’ve played table tennis since junior school. When I was junior high school, I entered competition all over Japan. Before this travel, I’ve studied in the Philippines for 3 months.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is to continue to try interesting things, to eat delicious foods as much as I can, to laugh with likable people every day, to act cool to be popular among girls, and sometimes to contribute something to other people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After 1month later from 3,11,2011, I was a volunteer as NPO (None profit organization) stuff at Minamisanriku in Miyagi. That was one of the worst-hit area by tsunami. The power and water already had being reintegrated in almost area and foods also had being provided with people but they still lived in refuge because their house came down or was flooded by mud sea and smelled nasty. Therefore, we went around refugees and we asked them if they still have enough supplies and we connected other expert NPO. For example, when we found out a patient who doesn’t have medicines, we asked medical NPO to help him. These were mainly medicines, foods for people who have allergies, and helper for elderly people. I heard a lot of stories from experiencers at that time asking them the things which people need more. I’d like to introduce you one episode.
When I went to a refuge which was community center, I met siblings. They were 6year old girl and 8year old boy. I talked with them because we couldn’t find adult people. I asked them the things they need I thought they told me toys or so but he said “friends
“. According to him, some friends were flowed and some friends moved to other place without goodbye to avoid from radial ray. I couldn’t say anything at that time.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can offer Japanese cultures, Origami, and Japanese dishes. I’m good at cooking and creating Origami. I can tell you about East Japan big earth quake because I’ve been a volunteer for 3times. I can tell you how to trip in Asia because I’ve been to Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, and India. I can teach you table tennis very well because I entered competition all over japan when I was high school and I have taught anyone for 3years. I can teach you geology, astronomy, and physics but little bit. haha
