About Me

I love learning and seeing new things, and really try to have the best time I can with what little things I own. I could write a lot, but essentially I live by the motto....Live for What Lasts

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting people through here is like a form of hitchhiking itself, and I really value meeting new people and exchanging ideas.

Interests

It includes drumming in two bands: M is We and Notalgiaphile. M is We is a combination of shoegaze and indie rock and Nostalgiaphile is like improvised garage rock. I also dabble with Mountain Biking, Longboarding, Airsoft, and collecting vinyl. But above all else, I enjoy meeting people. Especially when I play a gig or have a long ass conversation with a record store owner about music, I value experiences over money any time.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is mainly my thing. Instead of listing genres I'm going to list some bands that I've been listening to recently because "My Favorite Music" changes over the years. Pup, Death Grips, Cloud Nothings, Japanther, Old Gray, Immortal Technique, Lightning Bolt, Vince Staples, FIDLAR, Teen Suicide, Nothing, Worthwhile, Tyvek, Such Gold, Anti-Flag, Touche Amore, and The Chariot. Essentially it's like a shit ton of rock sub genres and some some alternative hip hop. I don't know what else to say about that since I could talk about it forever, music kicks ass.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I voted for Bernie Sanders, that meant a lot to me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd like to think that I'm well versed in random facts, especially with history since I'm a history buff.

I love talking about music, so I would love to learn about the music from other cultures, and hopefully somehow implement that in my drumming.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Not many material things, mainly anecdotal stuff, stories and things like that: )
