About Me

Hello Fellow Travelers! 🌍

I'm Hitesh, an easy-going travel enthusiast with a passion for exploring the majestic Himalayas. Currently, I find myself in France for a student exchange program, diving into the world of business through my master's studies. This marks my first international adventure, and I'm beyond excited to embark on a two-month backpacking journey across Europe!

The Himalayas hold a special place in my heart; I've explored their beauty extensively in my home country, India. I thrive on short hikes and find solace in the mountains. Now, I'm eager to discover the charm of European landscapes, culture, and people. I may be talkative (I believe stories are best shared!), and I genuinely enjoy the camaraderie of hosts and guests exploring new places together.

Europe, as enchanting as it is, comes with its costs ( purchasing power parity, puff) , especially for a traveler from the vibrant land of India. So, occasionally, I might need a couch to retire for the day or just a spot to keep my backpack while we venture out. In return, I promise intriguing tales from the Himalayas, a genuine love for sharing experiences, and a warm host when you decide to explore India.

I'm not just here for a place to stay; I'm here to connect. Let's swap stories, wander the streets, and create memories. If you're looking for a travel buddy, a fellow explorer, or someone to share a cup of tea and laughter with, I'm your person. Feel free to join me on my European escapade or let me be a part of your adventures.

Looking forward to making lasting connections and hosting fellow travelers in India someday. Until then, let the journey begin!

"Embracing the spirit of adventure and cultural exchange, I've joined Couchsurfing to connect with fellow travelers and kindred spirits from around the globe. I believe that the best way to explore the world is by immersing oneself in the local culture, and Couchsurfing provides the perfect platform for that. By opening my home to travelers and being a guest in others', I aspire to create meaningful connections, share stories, and learn from the diverse perspectives this world has to offer. Let's not just travel miles; let's travel hearts and minds, one Couchsurfing experience at a time."

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Trekking in wilds of Himachal Pradesh - those 15 days in the splendid mountains were among the best days of my life, Living along side of ghera river in the tents while wind blows at such a speed make u worry about your tent. The best part was the night trek with all the torches and mobile phones in a bag and following the moon light for 2 hours in otherwise dead dark forest was the ultimate thing I Have done.
