Overview
About Me
I come from a small village in Indian Himalayas. I was raised in various places throughout India and since 2018 I live in Romania.
I teach yoga as a full-time occupation. My life revolves around movement, meditation, and learning.
I am an easy-going person (I believe). I am fun-loving and like to crack jokes. With me, you can be yourself, nothing is weird for me if you can own your act :)
We can talk more about each other when we meet!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the idea of hosting and being hosted, sharing stories, learning, and encouraging one-another to explore this beautiful earth without the limitation of finance.
So far, all my experiences have been great and I am so looking forward to sharing my journeys with you too :)
Interests
I have taken interest in running since the beginning of this year (March, 2023) and so far (July, 2023)I have run 3 half marathons and a full marathon (all in the mountains). I am hoping to be ready to do ultra-running by the next year.
I love exercising. All forms of exercises appeal to me. I just love to be active with my body. Yet I have an amazing talent for lying down and staring at the wall for 3 hours straight without any bother.
I like learning so I read a lot.
Nothing else comes to mind right now. :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy variety of music depending on the overall setting and the mood . I am not an expert on talking about music but I like to listen to music that touches me deeply. Jamming music excites me. I used to be a fan of The Beatles, Pink Floyd, and Guns N' Roses. Well, I also like London Grammar and Snow Patrol. Oh, I love Reggae. :) I also play a little bit of Darbuka and Didjeridoo.
Movies have to be either extremely hilarious or extremely meaningful to be my favorites. I can't stand sci-fi, overly Romantic, not a big fan of thriller and action but watch them occasionally. Some of my favorites are The Man from Earth, The Tree of Life, The Motorcycle Diaries, Tracks, On The Road, The Bucket List, Taxi Driver, The Sunrise, and Dumb and Dumber.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Quitting my job in 2015 and travelling full-time for a year in India was one of the best things I did as it changed my life completely.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: English, if you haven't learned it yet. Hindi, if you really want to learn it. Darbuka and Didjeridoo, these two musical instruments that I play. Making a few Indian dishes.
I can teach you how to breathe correctly, how to take care of your body and how to meditate. I can give you many suggestions on running, hiking, budget travelling, yoga and I can share with you the art and pleasure of doing nothing.
Learn: I am open to learning anything one can teach me. I’m a curious kind.
Share: Dissemination of our knowledge should be for free. Little that I know about this world, I can share it all with the couchsurfers.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can lend an ear and listen for hours. I can help build a perspective on life. I can help make itineraries for traveling in India and Romania. I can share my travel equipment, books, food.
