COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

August 2012 travelled around France and it became the best experience in my life!

December-January 2012/13 Couchsurfed in Israel together with a good friend

For some time I co-owned and managed a co-living project on Cambodian coast and it was always free for couchsurfers

Hosted people in Saint-Petersburg and Moscow.

2016-2017 Lived and Couchsurfed in Israel.

2017 Couchsurfed in Spain and lived in a Spores co-living project in Cullera

2018 Couchsurfed in Croatia

2019-2022 Frequently hosted people at my place in the beating heart area of Berlin.

2022-2023 Mainly hosting refugees from Ukraine and journalists and political activists from Russia.

2023 - now hosting experienced couchsurfers from around the world

Have a broad music taste and vinyl collection. Now listening mostly to mixed-genre electronic, funky house, hard techno, non-English psychedelic rock, stoner and doom metal. And always Radiohead and Weval.

I love sci-fi and fantasy (Strugatskiye, Lem, Adams, Sorokin, Asimov, Dick, Sapkovsky, Geiman etc), indie comics (Transmetropolitan, Sandman, Maus, Persepolis, Fables, Saga, V for Vendetta, Watchmen, Scott Pilgrimm etc), Naoki Urasawa's manga and TTRPG books. Also myths and 20th century classics.

Series: Mr. Robot, Twin Peaks, Legion, Sense8, Westworld, Person of Interest, Dollhouse, Firefly, Silicon Valley, Community, Black Books, IT Crowd, Arcane, Invincible, Cyberpunk Edgerunners - the favs, but the actual list is endless.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Remember 'Avatar' movie? I covered a very similar story back in Cambodia. And yes, they burnt homes, killed people and kidnapped journalists there.
Hunted a serial murderer called "Russian Rambo". And was the first person to locate him.
Founded best music webzine Hook in Russia. It was like a 60's pirate radio station in 'A Boat that Rocked'.
