About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Find my true calling and challenge my mind.

ABOUT ME

Travel fuels my love of learning. Whether it's local cultures, customs, or about individuals I meet along the way, nothing beats learning and experiencing new things. I love adventurous activities, tattoos, food, music, and running/hiking!

PHILOSOPHY

Live to learn! Experiencing things with locals is always the best way to travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was originally introduced to the CS community in college by my roommate. We hosted many people in our spare dorm room. It was exhilarating meeting people from all over the world and from different walks of life. Since then I've had the chance to backpack around the world and hike through Canada and stayed with amazing people along the way. Some of my best memories are of the CS-ers I stayed with and less about the places we went.

Interests

I seek to gain new perspectives on life through other people in the pursuit of my own happiness and true calling in life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I range from rock to house music, inspirational sports movies to sundance film festival selections, and my taste in books probably covers it all (but I love a good Sci-Fi novel or existential book).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My backpacking round-the-world trip in late 2014 was one of the most amazing and fun filled things I've done. I got to meet so many awesome people, catch up with old friends, and experience beautiful sights.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've travelled the world pretty extensively, and spent almost 20 years growing up and being raised in Hong Kong and Australia. I love to share stories and hear about other people's lives and perspectives.
