ABOUT ME
I'm a student and I keep pretty busy. I have a lot of enthusiasm for learning about other cultures, so it'd be great to meet fellow travelers when I'm not traveling myself.
A couple things about this group.. we're kind of hippies, but that's on a relative scale because this is the Bay Area. We're mostly vegetarian/vegan, my housemates are into feminist studies, and this is a very LGBT-friendly household. We're also all super busy most of the time.
PHILOSOPHY
"I am not young enough to know everything." -Oscar Wilde.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've only surfed with friends. I now have a couch on which friends and friendly people can surf.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Probably my favorite surfing experience: sleeping in the den of a distant relative's house in Norway. In the middle of the night, the man's son came home and left his German Shepherd in my room. As soon as he was gone, the dog decided to climb on top of me and demand to be petted. So cute, but I was so sleepy!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the best experiences in my life was working as assistant engineer on a recording session for The Pines, a duo from Minneapolis. The album is called "Sparrows in the Bell" and being in the room as they performed those tracks (most of it was played live together) was heaven. That's the heart of it.
