About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Aspiring mensch

ABOUT ME

I am back in Sweden after about five years living in California, USA. I've mainly traveled in European countries, but would like to change that.

Living in our small house on the Swedish High Coast (at an address that CS doesn't recognize, so it's stuck in Mountain View for now..).

Every person that I've hosted or otherwise crossed paths with on CS has been a positive experience. I love the concept and the many differing views you get to see by looking through others' eyes, and hope to see more of them soon.

I am very open minded, and have quite a few things going on.

PHILOSOPHY

I think almost no one people don't live to their full potential, or anywhere near it. This includes me, but I am working on it. If you met me in the past, I'm sorry that you got a less cool version of me.. let's meet again?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host people whenever I can and have surfed a few times.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted quite a few people when living in San Francisco. Without exception, everyone I've met has been really open and interesting, and I've had some fantastically fun times. I'd like to have more in the future.

I've only surfed a couple of times, but also attended some meetups and other stuff.

Interests

I like somewhat unconventional / challenging activities.. have had the chance to go sky diving, piloted a plane, sailed a bunch (am a certified skipper), participated in building a 54,000 population city in the middle of the Nevada desert that lasts for a week before it's all torn down. For a time was a digital nomad roaming the earth in an RV, now living in the middle of gorgeous nature but far from large cities, visiting those when the need strikes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I stood on top of a 30 m high spire, overlooking the largest city of the county, that was built three days prior and would last for a few more days before being dismantled and completely removed, while getting some cooking tips from a surviving hippie from the 60s. Safety third!

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Kazakhstan, Netherlands, Nicaragua, Norway, Poland, Spain, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Sweden, United States
