ABOUT ME

I consider myself very easygoing, openminded and joyful. Especially when I'm travelling, you'll rarely see me without a smile on my face :) I also gotta say that I almost died laughing a few times in the past !

If I was stucked on a deserted island and that a genie was coming out of a magic lamp to ask me how I'd like to spend my last day... I would spend it all in nature with the people I love. So that's to say that I'm an outdoor type of person. I love the feeling you get on top of a mountain, listening to the silence and looking at the birds flying at the speed of sound (Copyright to Coldplay here).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed a week in Alaska, a month in Europe, a month in South America and I've hosted a few different people yet. I'm full of great souvenirs about it and I'm confident to have more.

I've also met a lot of amazing travelers and locals when I was staying in Seattle for a month. I can now say that I'm definitely in love with the couchsurfing community. 'Cause it's all about the people. And it's a great reminder that even though we all live in various countries and have various backgrounds, we're more similar than different and we should all learn from each others. I now understand a lot better why some people call themselves «citizens of the world» instead of relating to their nationality.

Interests

Meeting people, talking and reflecting with them, getting to know their interests and their passions. Trying to make the world a better one.

(By the way, since I like reciprocal relationships, which means in this case when people are actually interested to get to know me as well and not just to find a free bed, please say «cute grizzly» somewhere in your request so I'll know that you've read my profile ;) Feel free to make something funny with it!)

Other than that, I'm also pretty adventurous so I love sports and extreme sports like hiking, running, rafting, skiing, skydiving, etc. I also like to feel the rythm and dance to it :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I try not to watch too many, othewise I get the feeling that I'm loosing my time watching a sqare black screen. But when I do, I'm usually not picky, Anything that seems either funny (ex. How I met your mother) or interesting (ex. Mommy by Xavier Dolan)

Music: Then again, a little bit of everything, depending on my mood. From The Beatles to 50 cent. The only important thing is to sing their songs in the shower right?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Paragliding in Rio, bungee jumping in Ecuador, surviving the Death Road in Bolivia, taking a gondola in Venice, swimming in the mediterannean sea, sandsurfing in Brasil, surfing in Australia, feeding a baby kangaroo in my arms, skydiving in Quebec, getting stucked in a Medieval Castle for more than an hour in Verona, ...

I love learning about other cultures, as well as I enjoy teaching mine. I believe that travelling is the best way to become your better self.
