My two greatest joys in life are travel and getting to know people from different backgrounds. For this reason I travel as much as I possible and when I'm not traveling, I work at home in Wellington as a community worker on various projects that bring people together.

I am currently travelling with my partner, Tristan, through India, Iran and into Eastern Europe. Tristan is a violinist and teacher. We are travelling with our violins and hoping to meet as many people as we can and learn about the cultures, music and people along the way.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I love the opportunity to meet people from the places where I am travelling and get to know more about that place through the eyes of people who live there.

Although not through couchsurfing, we often have travellers come and stay at our place in Wellington (New Zealand is so small that informal networks tend to connect you up!) and I think it is such a great gift to offer a visitor a place to stay and a little insight into your personal world.

Intereses

Playing the banjo ukelele &violin, eating all the different (vegetarian) foods, hearing new instruments, community work, learning and speaking new languages, photography & story telling.
