ABOUT ME

I am a doctoral candidate at Michigan State University in Agricultural Economics. My research interests revolve around alternative agricultural production practices, eco-labels, community and sense of place, and food system economics. I grew up in Massachusetts and my family now lives in North Carolina. I love to play music, cook, and be outdoors!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am travelling to France for one week on my own this summer before attending a two week institute in Bertinoro, Italy. I am interested in meeting locals, eating delicious food, and drinking wine!

I would also love to host anyone coming to the Midwest to see the glorious Mitten State!

Interests

My life interests include food and wine (tasting, eating, cooking...), women's issues and feminist culture, traveling and experiencing new people and places, playing board games, dancing, laughing, environmental conservation and sustainability, raising backyard chickens, hiking with my dog, and reading life-altering books.
