Overview
About Me
I currently live in Paris, but I grew up in Toulouse. I love travelling of course, but I also enjoy a good night of boardgames with my friends, dancing all sorts of dances, climbing, hiking, reading, exploring the outdoors...
I can host in Paris, but I don't always have the time and I tend to be a bit more picky with whom I host. I use to maintain my reply rate at 100% a few years back, but that's not the case anymore.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have surfed here and there since 2009 then I have hosted as much as I could during the three years I lived in Dublin. Now I live in Paris and I've started hosting again from time to time.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I surfed many couches in many places I visited and always met hosts whose generosity I found inspiring. I am still keeping in touch with some of them years after and some I managed to meet again. I had many very nice guests as well and I always enjoying giving back.
Interests
I love dancing... Argentine Tango in particular, but also salsa and rock and many others (even started Oriental dance recently). It's even better if I get to combine it with travelling.
I'd like to get better at photography, but I'm not dedicated enough to improve.
I also really enjoy playing board games.
I like enjoying nice food, and I usually prefer home made meals to going out to restaurants. I am not a great cook, but I'd love to get better at it.

Music, Movies, and Books
My music tastes are pretty random and I don't constantly listen to music even when I commute, when I work or when I jog. I just don't like mixing music with external noise (and I don't like when people listen to their music too loud in public spaces :P). I like music for dancing, I like music for music.
My favourite authors: Amy Tan (because I learnt so much about myself reading her books...), Orson Scott Card, Conn Iggulden, Anchee Min, Sébastien Japrisot, Lisa See, Paulo Coelho. I try to read the books before seeing the movie adaptation. I love paper books and libraries.
Recent books I really liked: Cutting for Stone from Abraham Verghese and The Godfather from Mario Puzo.

Following my dream
Teach, Learn, Share
I guess I can teach you French and I can share my passion for dancing (I wouldn't be good enough to actually teach it).
I'd love to learn languages and how to cook nice dishes.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Probably a nice homemade dinner and some board games if you're into it. Dancing if you're into tango.
