Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I wanna share all about my city (historical places, local foods, culture, ...)
I'm proud of being a local person who born and growing up in Hue. My city is well-known as a capital of the last royal dynasty, Nguyen emperors.
* If you like architecture, history, you can visit many historical places for example: the Imperial City ,a majestic Gia Long tomb, a imposing Minh Mang tomb, a poetic Tu Duc tomb and a magnificent Khai Dinh tomb, Thien Mu pogoda, Quoc Hoc high school (the oldest high school), ..
* If you love food, you chose the right city to visit. The cuisine in Hue is rich, it has both luxurious and rustic popular dishes. Buddhism is the main religion in Hue, that's why you can find a lot kind of dishes for vegetarianism.
* How about drinks, you can taste the local beer, Huda Hue, Festival Hue and enjoy the fantastic time at night. If you don't like alcohol, you can try Vietnam coffee, I can show you the special kind of coffee and a story about it. :)
* Anything else??? Well, you can buy ticket to sit on a boat along the Perfume river and listening to Nha Nhac Royal Music - it was classified by UNESCO as the world cultural heritage but make sure you read some detail about it before get on the boat. :D. ..(many, depend on what season you come, what you like exactly,..)
My advice for you:
- You should come here on the spring or summer time, that's the best time to enjoy all activities.
- You should rent a motorbike, It's better for you to discover Hue. It costs around 120.000 to 180.000 vnd per day without petrol to rent one.
- You should book a room, the living cost in Hue is cheaper than others cities. It's 100.000 to 300.00 vnd for a room.
