About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm a crazy, fun, outgoing, caring, responsible chick who can't get enough of traveling, learning new things, seeing unlikely things and making life-long friends along the way. I grew up in Southern California, go to university in San Francisco, CA, and I am currently studying abroad in Spain. Ever since my month-long trip to Costa Rica, I have become pretty adventurous, and when I hear of an opportunity to go on a trip, I tend to follow through to make it happen.

PHILOSOPHY

What's life if you don't take a risk?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have one couch surfing experience, and hope to add more! I have heard a lot of good things about it and I am a student on a budget. It makes the most sense, PLUS, I believe it's so much better visiting a country when you know a local who can show you what it's really like [and take you to the not so touristy places as well!]

Interests

Traveling, listening to music, spending time with friends and family, eating, traveling, being outdoors, watching my favorite movies over and over again, oh, and did I mention traveling?

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a really eclectic taste of music--Incubus, Tom Petty, Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, Chris Brown, Alicia Keys, etc. I'm into classic rock, country, hip-hop/r&b, pop, gangsta rap...pretty much everything.

I love watching the same movies over and over again; Wedding Crashers, Dirty Dancing, Austin Powers 2 & 3, How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days, Forrest Gump, Grease, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, Sex and the City, Mermaids, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I would have to say building a wall for Quebrada Grande's tilapia farm. Quebrada Grande is a small village of less than 200 people in Costa Rica, and their tilapia farm brings in money to the tiny village. The hard work in scorching hot weather was worth it to see the appreciation and smiles on the Ticos' faces.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Costa Rica, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Spain, United States
