Hi. I'm an Ohioan turned Alaskan. I live in Bethel, a small town off the road system, and fly to even more remote and smaller villages during the week for work. It's a 9-month out of the year gig so I can spend the rest traveling.
I'm of the chill and talk variety (not to be confused with the Netflix and chill variety). In terms of travel style, I prefer to see where things go over having a set, fixed schedule. I like watching yuraq, picking berries, kayaking, camping, reading the newspaper, hiking, going to maqii/sauna, and hearing people talk about their travels.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like meeting new people, sharing my town, and learning about yours. I'm going to be traveling in Turkey, Rwanda, Uganda, and the DRC with friends this winter and we would love to meet people.

Interests

Being outside. I like the mountains, kayaking, hiking, music, making new friends, and learning about cultural practices. And ice cream. I really like ice cream.
