About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Live life as it comes and try not to screw up too much along the way. I'm currently taking a leave of absence from my current job as an attorney.
ABOUT ME
Hi! Although I'm an attorney , I like to think that I'm the antithesis of the stereotypes. I'm extremely laid-back and enjoy meeting new people. I've lived in the US my whole life (grew up in Illinois, spent some time in California, Seattle, WA, and currently live in Denver, CO). I am very much into checking out the local scene and having a couple of tasty beers to end the day. I am personable and am happy to discuss any topics. I am not a particular person, a non-tobacco smoker, and have no restrictions, allergies, etc.
PHILOSOPHY
Don't work too hard and enjoy life as it comes. I'm a "glass if half-full" kind of guy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've both hosted and stayed with other Couchsurfers. Also the Denver Couchsurfing community is really active and they organize events all the time. I've had a lot of great times and have gotten to know a ton of people through these events.

Interests
I guess the obvious thing that everyone puts here is traveling, but I'm also into outdoor activities. At home I really enjoy riding bikes (both road and mountain), golfing, camping, and skiing. I'm also into drinking local craft beers. Some of my favorite days included some combination of biking around the city and trying out new beers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm not really sure I can say that anything singular thing that I've done is amazing seeing as though many people have undoubtedly preceded me in doing these things. In terms of my own physical achievements, I've gone down some pretty gnarly stuff while skiing and done multiple big treks in Nepal carrying my own bag.
Teach, Learn, Share
I guess since my occupation is a patent attorney I could tell you about US patent law, although I can assure you that there are more exciting things that can be discussed. I spend time reading the news everyday (not Fox!), in order to try and stay abreast of what's going on in the world. If you're into discussing topics other than the weather I'd be happy to do so with you.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Let's start with the basics: your choice of tasty beverage. I also consider myself to be quite affable so (hopefully) some engaging conversation. I never criticize other people's views (unless they're completely bigoted); I try and foster discussion rather than an idealogue shouting match.
