Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to learn more about this world, to open my mind, to understand- and appreciate- human differences and commonalities. I want to force myself out of my comfort zone and indulge in experiences with people other than myself, for the better and the worse.

A world with closed borders, closed minds, and most importantly, closed hearts is not worth living in!

Interests

If I'm not working or studying, I'll probably be watching anime/ reading manga. I also like art, especially the politically motivating street art (thanks to my ex-husband). I love nature, but I'm not a nature adventurer ... yet.

One more thing, I do care a lot about justice in the world (all aspects of it).

Music, Movies, and Books

For me, good music has to have a meaning so deep that it touches something inside you each time you listen to it.

I'm passionate about Rock: Muse, Pink Floyd, Metallica....etc. I'm also a fan of Jazz: Miles Davis, Billie Holiday, Chet Baker ...etc. But most importantly, I'm open to hearing different genres if the music is right.

Favorite movies: Scent of a woman, the perfume, the god father (basically any movie with Al Pacino in it). I also love fantasy, so Lord of the rings comes high in the list.
