My name is Aven, a University student from South Korea
When I was a kid I lived in china for 7 years, it was very special experience that I could learn culture of China. I'm a outgoing and open minded about other countries and very interested to experience other cultures.

I have lived in Australia as Working Holiday for 7 month.

For the first two months, I worked at a Berryberry farm, saved some money and started my road trip. I traveled for a month. Started from Brisbane through the Great Ocean Road in south coast of Australia. I drove almost 5000km, and it was unforgettable, and awesome experience. Through my journey, I could fall in love with Australia more than before and then I came back to farm to prepare my trip around the world.

Reason of start to Couchsurfing.

I have been to 7 different countries. One of them, in Mongolia, I did volunteer work and it gave me wonderful memories. When I came back to Korea I tried to find the reason why it was so special to stay in Mongolia and my answer is because of cultural exchange. We stayed in Mongolian traditional house and at that time, it gave us chance to understand each other with Mongolian people. We communicated with people everyday however if it was a just travel it would be hard to experience differences of cultures.

This is also why I like an idea about Couchsurfing, it makes me to meet people from different countries that I can learn different point of views which is awesome opportunities.

I love Movies!
I started to enjoy the movie seriously since I was in middle school. At that time, I wanted to be a filmmaker. I remember I was watching movie everyday. Also, I did an internship in China Film Company. I hope I want to work in movie industry in the future.
