Independent arthouse films, Taxi, Amelie and other films by Jean Pierre Jeunet, Songs from the second floor, Coraline, Nightmare before Christmas and all other Tim Burton films. We also like Coen brothers films.

I like a lot of music artists, electronic, pop, jazz, classical and Dutch music. A selection from my itunes library: Akufen, Daft Punk, Pink, Edith Piaf, Jamiroquai, Madeleine Peyroux, Ella Fitzgerald, Chopin, The Sixteen, Spinvis, Aphex Twin, Room Eleven, Lamb.

At the moment I am reading 'The Raggamuffin Gospel' by Brennan Manning. I also enjoy reading biographies. Self help books. Artist books, and books on art. Photo books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We flipped over during white water rafting in Nepal, we camped out for three days alongside the Kali Gandaki river. We laughed, sat by the bonfire, cooked, rafted, laughed more, and taken all together a thoroughly great experience.

We travelled to Tenerife last minute and during a trekking excursion we had the opportunity to have lizards eat of our hands. Our tour guide Alf showed us the wonder of nature using a lotus leaf, water and honey. Nature is a wonderful and great source of inspiration.

Drinking single malt whisky from the bottle produced by Scotland's smallest distillery in the minibus on our Highlands tour in Scotland.
