Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Meet a lot of people, learn their languages/cultures, and understand their perspectives.
ABOUT ME
I'm a hardworking student who is slowly losing focus, in the hopes of seeing the world and living sustainably.
PHILOSOPHY
Don't be afraid to let your philosophies change. Overexcessive pride and a closed mind won't help you in life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I started couchsurfing when I lived and traveled in France. I spent a lot of time couchsurfing in my own city while I took a year off from school, worked for free, and was homeless. I've met a lot of interesting people, and I can't wait to tap into this community in other places around the world. I think couchsurfing is the best way to travel, and I would recommend it to anyone. I finally have a couch of my own to host people, and I'm looking forward to being on the other side of the interesting exchanges that this website facilitates.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have had the opportunity to stay with a few people while traveling Europe, and a few more people in New England, and I have had great experiences. I hope to do some more couchsurfing in the United States to learn the country better, as well as in Central and South America.
Interests
Learning new things, meeting new people, cooking, biking, reading, writing, recycling, sustainability.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a horrible critic, so I end up liking most movies and music. My interests change often but some of my favorites are:
Doctor Who, Donnie Darko, Firefly/Serenity, Amelie, Away We Go, What Dreams May Come
Lana Del Rey, The Beatles, Ratatat, First Aid Kit, Andrew Bird,
The Poisonwood Bible, His Dark Materials, Abhorsen Trilogy, A Clockwork Orange,
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I actually think about it, there are too many to list - the world's a pretty cool place.
Graduated from college, lived in France, built a biodigester in rural Nicaragua, learned how to make biodiesel, worked with catadores in Brazil, lived in a van, and hopefully many many more.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you about using waste vegetable oil as a fuel. I'd like to learn how to play the mandolin, speak Portuguese and Spanish.
Countries I’ve Visited
Brazil, Canada, El Salvador, France, Germany, Netherlands, Nicaragua, United Kingdom
Countries I’ve Lived In
Brazil, France, United States
