About Me

I'm a English language teacher based in Huelva capital. I like exploring the mountains and beaches nearby, running, cooking (and eating), and playing with my dog Crispin. I'm not always available to host but I'm usually free for coffee and would be very happy to help you navigate the local area.

I've been lucky to meet great people while traveling and as a host both on and off couchsurfing. I've shared many great meals and trips with couchsurfers, and learnt a lot about people and the definition of good company in the process. I look forward to meeting more great people and exploring many more places in the future!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the ethos behind couchsurfing - travelling, exploring places and connecting with like-minded people!

I've hosted people from: Poland, Canada, Italy, Switzerland, Argentina, New Zealand

I've surfed with people from: USA, UK, New Zealand, Portugal

Interests

I like reading, listening to music, but mostly when I'm not at work or lesson planning I like to cook, or go out to eat delicious food with friends. I also like learning, I spent a lot of my time studying and have tried out several online MOOCs, as well as studying Spanish when I can find the time.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading, and will devour pretty much anything. With films, it's often the same! I like things that are beautiful, romantic, cheesy, exciting, tense... i'll watch anything, there is a film for every mood!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think moving to Spain without knowing a single word of Spanish was pretty mad but amazing. I can't imagine living anywhere else now.

Teach, Learn, Share

One thing i would love to share with any surfer or host would be cooking. We love to cook in my house, so a big shared meal or 'pot-luck' style dinners are always popular.
