ABOUT ME

grew up in a big family and have always loved having lots of people around so this type of travel and housing is right up my alley. i try and let people make their own decisions about me after they have met me but for the sake of information i am really easy going and usually quite open and up front.

PHILOSOPHY

don't really have any philosophies because opinions and feelings about ones self can be too defining. live like a tree and bend but also know how to be content with the stillness.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i would like to help others enjoy safe and inexpensive travel in the future. Love to show people around and I am excited to get back and offer the same surfing benefits that I will receive.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i let a couple of young Russian kids crash in my living room for 4 months. Initially they were supposed to stay for a week or two but things went differently and I ended up making two great new friends that still reside in the US.

Robert Altman is the greatest US filmmaker ever but my favorite recent film ummm Let The Right One In.
Books...really like Richard Yates work and as my user name references I am one of the many that loves Salinger.
