About Me
Neurosurgeon by day, traveller by night.
I was born in Hanover, Germany and did my school in St. Albans, England (International Baccalaureate). After a year of military service in the German Navy, I enrolled into med school. I did my residency training in both, St. Gallen, Switzerland and London, Ontario, Canada. I'm currently in my fellowship training where I still find time to travel and enjoy my life.
Countries travelled: Austria, Belize, Belgium, Belarus, Bosnia & Hercegovina, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Djibouti, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Guatemala, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Kosovo, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Macedonia, Malta, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, UK, Ukraine, USA.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have met many people in many countries during my travels in the past. I have been welcomed by them and, in return, I have helped out others, when they were visiting or just looking for 'a place to crash'. My experiences were good throughout. I believe in intercultural exchange and regard the idea of a worldwide melting pot as key to a good future.
