Overview
About Me
Well well well.
...
I am basically half-Lebanese, quarter Scottish, quarter Irish. I grew up in Beirut until age 21, after being born in Yorkshire, England. I did my masters degree in London in Arts Management. Went back to work in prominent music festivals in Lebanon and Abu Dhabi. Decided it was time for change, so took a chance and moved to charming Lisboa.
I am interested in a wide array of topics. *Usually* they revolve around the arts, cats, horses, astrology, science, books, egyptology.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I am hungry for novelty and am absolutely in love with how the human mind functions. AND with how it has developed until this mess we are finding ourselves in right now.
I am alway positively surprised by how humans can be a well of generosity and warmth. Have much to learn from you guys.
Anything that tickles my curiosity and can quench my insatiable thirst for "DID YOU KNOW" is what I am looking for.

Music, Movies, and Books
my ultimate favourite is definitely classical music and opera. However, I do like different genres such as "world music ", jazz - Fado, Flamenco, Goran Bregovic, Oum Kulthum, Fairuz, Asmahan...
I am naturally inclined to quiet music so soft rock is also on my list and romantic stuff from the 90's :P
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Just one? ...
Ok! well I chose: Volunteering in an elephant sanctuary on my own for a week in Mondulkiri, Cambodia!
Teach, Learn, Share
I could teach Languages - some English, French, Lebanese Arabic...
I could also share some funny random facts about animals :) - some astrology tips and how to recognise sign characteristics ;) some Lebanese recipes and Arabic singers, authors etc...
I would love to learn about new ways of doing things, new cultural traits and perspectives. I think putting oneself in other people's shoes is a lifetime skill to acquire!
