About Me

I enjoy spending my free-time learning, travelling, being active, organising and working at music events, cooking and learning about marine life.

I completed my DIVE MASTER Certification at the end of 2018 in Tenerife, and am excited for what scuba adventures are to come. I got the opportunity to live amongst the Canary Islands for 3 months. I would love to go back, the sun is shining very consistently and the marine life is extremely diverse and interesting. My favourites were the Bull Rays, Octopuses and Giant Atlantic Trumpet Fish... oh and of course, the Angel Sharks!

Current Mission:

I am living in London at the moment, preparing myself to start my transition into marine biology. I start a masters in Cork this September which is really exciting! I look forward to being able to host some visitors over in my new Irish home when the opportunity arises.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy hosting people and would love to branch out having people from all over the world come and experience the UK in a positive and memorable way. It would be great to share some of the UK's extensive music events scene with couch surfers :)

I also love to travel, meet new people and experience their cultures in a more intimate way than a normal tourist.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to an extensive variety of music genres, some of my favourites being: Jazz, Hip-hop, Experimental Chill-out/Trip-hop, Acid Techno, Hardcore/Industrial Gabber and Breakcore.

I don't watch much television on a day to day basis, however I do really like Sci-Fi films and series. Recently I've been watching Mr Robot and Philip K Dick's Electric Dreams; I'm really looking forward to season four of Black Mirror.

I also enjoy watching anime films and nature documentaries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the amazing things I did in 2017 was snorkelling in Silfra, Iceland.

Silfra is a rift formed in the divergent tectonic boundary between the North American and Eurasian plates and is located in the Þingvallavatn Lake in the Þingvellir National Park in Iceland.

Although it is absolutely freezing, the water was crystal clear for 100m in front. This was an unforgettable experience that I would recommend to anyone visiting the country!

UPDATE 2019 - CAN NOW DO THE SPLITS! I impressed myself thoroughly when I learnt this about myself.

Countries I’ve Visited
