I'm a mum of two gorgeous boys under age 5. They fill my time when I'm not working. I Work in the travel industry and dream of going on more adventures with the boys when they get a bit bigger.

To meet great people from everywhere! Truly hope to host but in the mean time I hope I get to meet people on the short travels I can take from time to time.

Intereses

There's not much that doesn't interest me. I prefer movies, dancing, great talks over great wine and food, crafty stuff, music, and adventuring (hikes, trails, SCUBA, good mischief etc). I'm keenly interested in acting and working my way back into it painstakingly slow! I'm VERY into music and dancing, so I am often singing something or breaking into a dance move to the music I hear out and about. Live bands, buskers, or ticketed shows all appeal, and depending on my budget and how the kids are cared for, I will be found seeking out good sounds.

Música, películas y libros

If it has rhythm, a good beat, and lyrics I can stand I generally like it. Classical to Industrial. Political to romantic. I'm not such a pop music fan, but even some songs reel me in!

I love movies and try to see something funny, dramatic, fantasy, or intriguing at least once a month. It's a far cry from once a day of my past... Ask me if I've seen it - if not it's probably on my Must See list!

Books are magic. I love to read even if I'm behind in that too. I have a number of them and I treasure each one. I have a good collection of reading material not usually found in most home libraries :) Currently reading Just Kids, Game of Thrones (book 1), and Temaraire. Though I am not really as interested in fantasy as strongly as I am historical fiction, I sometimes divert.

The White Countess - it was my first major motion picture experience. I met Ralph Fiennes, Natasha Richardson's mother, Vanessa Redgrave, and Ishmail Merchant! It was the springboard of inspiration to go into that industry.

Maybe childbirth? hehe it's an amazing thing any mother has done. I even had one of my two at home and YES it was amazing and beautiful, to be in my space, in my bed, with my things and no sterile rooms. Amazing not for the bravery I'm told I had but for the freedom and comfort birthing at home gives.

I've helped others practice English teaching in China, and really enjoy learning languages myself. I'd really love to get more help learning Mandarin and French. I practice with everyone I know and laugh with them at my mistakes. It's great to try speaking to a person who knows both because I often fill in the blanks with the other language!

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

Help around the house, with children, craft skills, and even some computer skills. I proofread and edit and that seems to be a hit with students. I'm good at cleaning up after myself, staying out of the way, or joining in if I'm wanted.
